This week’s Too Cute Tuesday I’m sharing some more pictures of Rocky in weird positions. He loves jumbling his feet together (which is oh so cute!) and laying off furniture in weird positions. I’m also so glad this house has windows that go to the floor like our condo did because he loves laying down by the window with his feet stretched out! He makes me smile every time I look at him and I hope he makes you smile too 🙂 (more…)
Guys, guess what?! Our wedding was finally published on TheKnot.com!! Super cool to see all my DIY projects from our wedding are published on a site that I think almost every bride-to-be visits. Our photographer did an awesome job of capturing all the little details that I incorporated into our wedding and we have beautiful photos.
Awhile back we went to mulch all our flower/tree beds and found a bunny nest! You could see them all squished together and buried in their nest made of straw and other found materials. They were so tiny and cute! We made sure to not let Rocky see the nest or let him get too close to find it. We went on vacation for about a week to Florida to visit Universal Studios (Harry Potter world!) & Busch Gardens. When we came back I went to check out the nest to see if they were still there and we found them outside of the nest tucked under the retaining wall rocks. I seriously could have pet them I was so close but I left them alone as tempting as it was (they were super cute!). I snapped a quick pic of the 3 of them with my phone incase they ran away so the quality isn’t so great. The next day they were gone and on their way to their new bunny life outside of the nest! Too Cute Tuesday time!! This week I’ll be sharing these ridiculous photos of Rocky laying in bed. Joe was getting ready for bed so Rocky thought it was a good time to jump up on his side of the bed and lay next to me. He had his feet stretched out like a human and his head on the pillow. It even looks like he has his paws tucked up under him like a human would. So ridiculous and so cute! He makes me smile everyday 🙂 Anyone notice the Mr. Right pillow he’s laying on?? Totally true 😛 I hope you enjoy the Rocky Snuggles and it brightens your Tuesday! (more…)
This week’s Too Cute Tuesday is featuring my adorable little niece who just turned 5 years old yesterday! Kaylee and her friend have been into mermaids lately and have been drawing them a lot for whatever reason (I wish I had a sample to share with you!). Kaylee originally wanted a Frozen party but switched the theme to have a Mermaid Birthday party. Glad she was being different! My sister asked me to design her invitations and here is what I came up with! I had to design something with her love of Frozen so I made the mermaid Elsa colors 🙂
Hello! Last month I found out our wedding has been selected to be featured on TheKnot.com towards the end of April. I can’t wait to share our story & pictures with you! I did a lot of DIY projects for my wedding to personalize it to our style so I thought I’d do a few posts on my Wedding DIYs leading up to the big reveal day on The Knot. I didn’t really take pictures of my step-by-step process because I wasn’t doing a blog at the time of my wedding prep but I’ll do my best to describe everything and maybe re-take some pictures of what I can! The first post of this wedding series on my blog will be some tips that worked for me for wedding planning. I hope it helps you for your big day!
Hi guys it’s time for Too Cute Tuesday! I thought Rocky needed a new collar for the new house to go with his new dog tag! It matches his leash perfectly and is from the best place on earth: Target 🙂 I love his dog tag. He likes to shake his body a lot and if he had a traditional tag on it would jingle like crazy but this one attaches right on the collar which means no noise! They are called Boomerang Tags if you’re interested.
Time for Too Cute Tuesday! This past weekend we moved into a new home. (Check out this post to read how that went.) We were very surprised how Rocky acted when we first let him in. We thought he would run around like a maniac like he usually did at the condo. But instead he literally went through every room in the entire house and sniffed the perimeter. It was kind of funny. He still doesn’t completely understand what is going on and isn’t back to his normal self. I’m sure that will change soon. We just had some quotes given to us from different invisible fence companies and we have finally decided on one so we can’t wait for Rocky to be able to freely run around the new yard!
We have officially moved into our new-to-us home! I’ll start out this post on Thursday’s events and update you from there until today (Monday). On Thursday I finished the last of the packing and that evening when Joe got off work we immediately went and picked up our gigantic 24′ Uhaul! That thing is a beast. We were worried about it being too much room because it said for 3-4 bedroom homes and ours was a 2 bedroom. But apparently I’m just really good at organizing and packing things away that we were able to fill that thing with no problem (and still have some stuff left over at the in-laws place!). We wanted to get the 20′ but they didn’t have any for our moving weekend so I guess it’s a good thing we got the 24′!
